didnt get a new one...got a '97...my dad is a mechanic, so i just gotta pay for parts and help him work on the car and its all good

the car is pretty fun to drive though. comfortable, good power, decent gas mileage...i enjoy it

i'll probably end up gettin a subaru in a couple years
there ya go, that's how i do it too...minus major shit i can't do.

i don't pay a premium on my car. i pay extra cause i got two speeding tickets...

ive owned a 91 acura integra gs.. still would have it if it wasnt for it being totalled when some idiot crashed into it while it was parked outside.

i own a ford explorer right now.. had it since 2007, bought it for $800 with 87k miles.

you do realize they base your AGE, location, driving record, and car on that too...not just the car.....and on how many miles you say you drive a year.......

that shit is subjective.

the car is a significant amount of it.. the driver's status/record determines if the rate goes up or down.

either way.. that subaru costs more to insure than most of the cars mentioned in here.. if not all.

it ran when i got it.. had to flush the radiator and replace a cracked head.. so i guess it was $1000 after an extra $200 of parts. im at 120k now and that cars been everywhere.. off road.. on road.. road trips.. hauled stuff.. jumped started other cars

dude hit me up on craigslist.. i put up an ad looking for parts because i had another explorer that i had gotten in an accident in.. needed doors, lights.. etc. offered me the car for $800 but told me it needed some work.

I have a 95 325i and it is fun to drive, it has 165,000 miles on it now and runs ok (needs valve cover gasket and the ac compressor causes it to idle shitty when I am running it) but I have seen a lot of people with over 250k on them as long as you take care of them they can last a long time.

mine is actually about to hit 210k right now (once i leave the house)....runs smoother than any car ive ever driven

i ended up picking up an 02 eclipse with 79k miles on it...whas the word on eclipses?

as soon as i drove off the lot, i went to my boys, he checked sum shit in the engine, checked the oil n the service engine soon light came on wtf
