Right on homie, I've done all those things with the exception of dropping off my album at Rock Bottom, just cause my shit aint dropped yet, but please believe come Oct. 9th, Rock Bottom and Underdog are my first stops.

Smoke, School will be back in when your cd drops. So as soon as school starts up hit every school, Antioch, Deer Valley, Freedom, Liberty, Pittsburg, Concord, Mount and hand out flyers and samplers. The streets have to see you to R.E.S.P.E.C.T you.
Also if you have a radio single hire a Radio Promoter. And magazine ads help. But make sure that the publication has a readership of at least 500,000. Also free reviews within magazines help.

Smoke, who put together your Marketing Plan, Business Plan, Mapped out your Company? Solicited Distribution for you?
Do you have a scan of your 1-Sheet that you can post up for the people on here that might be interested in your project? A few Record Store and Clothing Store owners are on the siccness and might have interest. It will help them to see if they would like to carry your project.

See now thats whatz up right there. That is how it is supposed to be. I like how this post turned around. It is positive for the Artists reppin' Antioch and the local music scene. Hope everyone can get together and network and move some units.

It's all me myself and I mayne, I've been looking for a manager for a minute, but even most managers don't accept unsolicited material. I've been in talks with City Hall, they wanna see how this first release does and hopefully I can get with them. I don't have a 1 sheet yet but I'm deff. gonna get one, I've just been grinding, at the malls, fairs etc. passing out flyers trying to get this buzz going you know? Again thank you for the advice and hopefully we can chop it some more about this sometime. I'm deff. gonna get an add in SMM though so I'll be at you soon.

Smoke, you know how Rick at Rock Bottom changes the Charts (the big white board) in his store every week, and it is based on actual Record Sales within his store? You should take a picture of the charts the week after your cd comes out and post it so that everyone can see how you did at the hometown store. If you follow the advice that has been put up here by the people that really want to see you and other Antioch artists succeed then you will have a nice 1st week.

good shyt....lived there myself for 18 years......I fucced with a couple cats from the Yoc...Decoy and Jr The Deviant...coo pholkz..did a couple tracks with them....but I haven't been in touch with them in like 5 years
