Anyone have any experience with SetCPU and overclocking?

I'm reading up on it at XDA, don't want to spend the $2 on it though. Is it worth it?

Can I find it somewhere for free?

I'm not sure about the Eris but with the Droid you need to install a kernel (usually an update.zip file). The kernel will have different speeds you can overclock at like 400/600/800 etc.

Its worth it to pay but....

you need a custom kernel in order for SetCPU or OC to work on your phone...

How about Live Wallpapers? I tried the Mary Jane Frr, but it only works like 1 out of 10 times I try it, and never for long. I was looking for the Super Mario one they were showing on Attack of The Show, but I can't find it.

Was fucking around with the Wiimote Controller app, but I can't get it to work right. The A and B buttons work, but that's it. Fucking weird.

Can one of you Droid genius fucks explain to me why my camera apps (both that camera pro and the regular camera app) don't show anything before I take the pic anymore? I get a black screen when I should be getting a preview of what the camera is aiming at... It's now a pain in the ass to try to take a picture.


Also, the default browser crashes everytime I try to use it. I'm using Dolphin HD now, which works, but it still annoys me...

^Most likely an issue with your ROM. Lookup the thread for your ROM and see if they have a workaround for it or a newer release.

Further Edit: found a thing on their thread. Says to install Camera Magic from the Market. That one works.

I picked up my Droid X in Bakersfield by luck when my phone died. I love this big screen my fat fingers can text comfortably and the camera is on point.
Anybody got some good apps for this Droid X?
