man, i am illiterate when it comes to this shit!
Yeah I forgot to ask what firmware you were running cause you need to go to 1.5 to obtain root
but you basically load the rom via recovery
by holding down the volume down menu and call or something like that then you flash the update.zip

now after i downgrade do i need to put the rom on my sd card?
Yeah make sure you have your recovery flashed first though then make sure you wipe/factory reset before you flash the rom, you can use the flash any zip from sd card setting just make sure you dont put the rom zip file in any folders on the sd card..... and to get to recovery you hold power and home together fillya

I used rom manager, have to have clockwork recovery flashed though or it just reboots the phone without partitioning the card, I went 512 mb ext and 64 swap personally. Cyanogen is so respected because he pretty much took over when JesusFreke retired from rom making a while back. I liked the looks of UD but just didnt feel stable as Cyanogen but shit ain't gonna be perfect when you're loading up bleeding edge shit I guess

Just use rom manager to get the partitioning done homie, then flash the SP recovery back on because folks have failed trying to flash UD 10 on clockwork, and nandroids are the only way available for UD 10 right now
