That'll take a while because all the different handsets have different are so different under the hood plus the software has to go through each carrier's approval and bogged down with their bs add-ons
True but they're more worried about putting out new devices with Android instead of trying to unify all their versions. My question is Why are new phones getting released with 1.5? Just stupid thats all
Not necessarily Google's fault, they just develop the software it's up to the carriers to get on board. Plus it's all about money from newer faster phones that the carriers want instead of releasing free updates to phones that are 2 yrs old.
I'm about to get up on those emulators. Do you just use the data cable and put the roms onto your phone from your computer? Or do you search for the roms using the phone itself?

Echos do not mean your phone is being tapped, usually happens when you don't have a great connection to a tower. Echos will happen, no need to flip out and run to your carrier if you have an echo.
I am starting the process of getting an android blog together. Its going to have app reviews and tutorials for noobs on how to do the cool shit. Gonna do a few writeups and I will post the link when its up. Going to try and provide paid apps without getting shutdown either somehow.

If you are just going to root, use droidmod. Do a quick search on what it is, and then from your phone go to this url to install the droid mod updater.
I just installed some GBA roms and when I go to open them with the emulator, it says I must specify the BIOS file in the settings. When I go to do it, there is no BIOS file ("normally called gba_bios.bin) present.
