Likwid, do you have the EVO or Droid X? I noticed you took screen shots... how the hell you do that? I have the EVO. Also, setting photos as wallpaper and making sure that it fits to screen?

I have the Droid X but screen shots can be done with any Rooted phone. You have to make sure that your phone is rooted first. As far as rooting the EVO I'm not sure how to do that and hopefully one of the other EVO owners can chime in. The screencap app I use though is called ShootMe.
As far as wallpapers I always save the wallpaper to my phone then use the "set as" option in the gallery. This gives you that scalable square thingy to "crop" the wallpaper. With that you want to always try to make crop area as large as possible. Also you want to make sure you are using wallpapers of proper size. Using a smaller image file will look horrible. Try one of the wallpapers posted in this thread to see if it works out. I've seen the wallpapers for my droid x work on evo's just fine.
As far as apps, I'm gonna try and organize what I use or recommend, with links somewhere. Not sure if it will be a sicc blog or whatnot. But I just want to compile resources for everyone.
There will always be a market for RIM products because of security etc., though it is shrinking because the market for entertaining devices is growing quickly. Blackberries suck at games and apps.
