Posting from this LG Optimus S I just got for my work phone and wow am I impressed. Its an entry level device but a great overall package for the price and a huge step up from my previous phone (the utter piece of shit that is the Samsung Intercept). I highly recommend this if you're looking for a quality inexpensive Sprint phone.

Vizio reveals Via Tablet and Phone with Android, sub-$300 3DTVs ahead of CES

Vizio made its name by packing high end features into value-priced HDTVs and it's taking that mentality to new areas, revealing the tablet we spotted in last night's Rose Bowl ad as the 8-inch Via Tablet and a 4-inch Via Phone. Both will be running Android and while CTO Matthew McRae didn't spill any OS details to the Wall Street Journal, the combination of confirmed Market access and odd button configuration has us thinking Honeycomb is in the works when they are released this summer. The only Via Phone details mentioned are screen size and its front and 5MP rear cameras, while the tablet promises a "high resolution" screen, WiFi, three speakers, HDMI out and front facing camera -- but no cellular service.

Expect TV manufacturers to be on their toes as well, since Vizio says it will bring 3DTVs to market that start at less than $300. The new mobile products will also tie into its TV business through the Via Plus internet service, which sounds a lot like Samsung Apps by allowing access to Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Android market access (to go along with its new Google TVs) and even a new Vizio On Demand movie services across all of its devices. We'll temper our excitement slightly remembering the new TVs and iPhone app shown off last year that never quite made it to shelves, but this trip to Vegas has already gotten even more interesting.

Yeah the next phone up from Sprint is the HTC Evo Shift 4G....cool that it has a keypad but I dont really like the look of it. I would just go with the original HTC Evo, unless they have improved battery life on this one?

Now the one that I like is this HTC Thunderbolt....supposed to be the first 4G phone introduced on Verizon at CES. It's pretty much like an Evo 4G for Verzion minus the HDMI output...unless its hidden there somewhere???

Nah moto killed it with the Droid and Droid 2 (global included), but the droid X is just dope. I really liked the motos over the htc android phones. I can't wait to see the Thunderbolt though, there are supposed to be like 4 (4g) devices to be revealed at CES. I got 2 upgrades on deck to get a new phone then I'll probably sell my X.

My ol man just got his first smartphone and he chose the Droid 2 Global. After owning the Evo 4G and taking a liking to HTC Sense, I gotta say Droids with the current version of Motoblur they run feel much smoother and less laggy. The D2 Global is a sleek phone. I would like to see what HTC comes with on any new version of Sense though. Stock Android is becoming more clean and polished with every new release, making all these custom skins seem unnecessary.

Have you guys messed with Launcher Pro as opposed to Sense or Blur? If not give it a try. I've hated every UI overlay I've ever used and Launcher Pro gives you alot of custimization on top of performance. Give it a try theres a free version and a paid version that I've posted a few times.

How long have you had this issue?

Are you running the stock android os or a custom rom?

Are you using the stock messaging app?

If not, try it, if yes, try handscent free in the market.

Have you done a soft reset?

You can always do a hard reset first thing to eliminate the phone as the issue but of course you gotta restore everything.
