Another big fight for Ward. He wins this and he's in the final fight of the Super Six Tournament.

Ward-Abraham Finalized For Home Depot Center, May 14

By Ruslan Chikov

Reports in Germany are stating that a deal was reached to place Andre Ward's defense of the WBA super middleweight title, against Arthur Abraham, at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Ward (23-0, 13KOs) is leading the Super Six Boxing Classic in points. Abraham (32-2, 26KOs) lost two out of his last three bouts, with a disqualification defeat to Andre Dirrell and a decision loss to Carl Froch. The winner will face the victor of Carl Froch-Glen Johnson in the Super Six finals. Froch-Johnson takes place the following week on May 21.

I can't imagine Arthur winning more than a round or two, max.
he has looked like SHIT in his 2 previous super six fights hasn't he?

The one thing I'll give Abraham in this fight is his power. And sometimes Ward likes to be really physical and fight on the inside, if he does, Abraham has a real good shot and hurting Ward with a bomb. Abraham's back is against the wall, so I see him going for broke.

But if Ward fights smart like he should, he'll school him and send abraham back down to 160 pounds where he probably belongs.

Ya I just see Arthur trying to be a bully in there. That's all he has going for him. Ward is just too slick to be cornered or trapped against the ropes like that. I just see Ward dominating the ring, and slipping off the ropes. Arthur will put up a great fight but I don't think he can catch him.

Ward is going to ruff up King Arthur. Abraham is mentally done, if Ward puts on the pressure he should be able to stop him late in the fight. I'm waiting on the Froch vs Johnson fight. The Road Warrior is going to KO Froch.

I think if ward gets in and imposes his strength, he'll mentally beat arthur and then run the table. If he runs, Arthur will think, "he's afraid of my power" and might pull a rabbit out of his hat.

Either way, I think Ward wins but it might be more entertaining than AA's last 3 fights.

Sick venue if anyone's thinking about going and never attended a fight there

I'm actually going out on a limb here and predicting Ward stops Abraham. I just think Abraham is mentally done, after his embarrassing losses to froch & dirrell. I think after the first two rounds and he realizes he can't do shit he's going to shut down like he did against froch and this time he'll quit or be TKO'd.

Pretty good card:

Its safe to say Abraham was the most exposed fighter in the tournament. Ward fights are always wierd so it wouldnt surprise me if either guy won even though I'm obviously going for Ward

We have to remember Arthur is naturally 160. He packed on 8 pounds go make the tournament. I would really like to see Arthur move back down and face Pavlik. It would be a big comeback fight for either fighter and it would be a firework show.

Speaking if Arthur loses this Saturday of course.

Is there a clause in the contracts that states Andre Ward never has to go further than 500 miles away from home or something? LOL

He's my guy, and I'm a fan but damn...the rest of these guys are going into enemy territory, which is a huge disadvantage.

I wish the Arreola fight was part of the televised card, I hear that he's in the best shape of his pro career.

I never thought he would turn the corner, hopefully he sticks with it after this. I always thought the weight was the only thing keeping him from being a top heavyweight (as in top 3 or so). With the weight loss will come better balance and better speed, if Haye fails to beat Wlad, maybe Arreola can get a piece of Wlad soon?

There's no going back down to fight Pavlik, Pavlik will never see 160 again, they're already in the same weight class.

His new tattoos are pretty bland. The "Last Call" one though is pretty cool. He probably got it right before going into rehab.

Ya, they are going to replay Manny vs Shane instead of Arreola.
Lame.

God damn i hate seeing replays of a fight that already happened. This aint the 90's everyone saw the fucken fight. Show a extra undercard fight instead of that shit. As much as i want to say Ward is the best fighter out there cuz hes the hometown guy i just dont know, i cant seem to get a feel for his boxing style. He has fast hands but doesn't really impress me
