if he had walked off the court after quitting on his team, and announced the shit it would be a little more understandable, but to do this to that team and those fans is bullshit.

I love how everyone is just passing all of this off on Lebron....If the Cavs front office really wanted to keep him around they knew what they needed to do and they weren't able to get it done....and quite honestly it didnt seem like they were actively trying to get it done until the last minute.....Tuesday they get a sign and trade deal with Toronto to bring in Bosh....No shit he dont wanna go to Cleveland now....they all decided last week what was going down.....you wanna blame someone blame Dan Gilbert....

What exactly were the Cavs supposed to do if it's not a secret? Bring who with the cap space they had? You think all those players were brought to the team over the last 2 years without Lebron's consent? And how much help exactly does he need to win it?

They got Gasol in the middle of the season. Kobe was threatening to leave before the season, but he didn't. It is not like he didn't leave because they brought Gasol, as Gasol was brought after that.

They got Shaq off the books...they could have made cap space....could have brought in Amare....could have looked a trade for Chris Paul since he's not happy....could have at least went after David Lee or tried to bring Boozer bacc or something....fact is they sat on their hands till the very last minute then tried to throw up the hail mary to make it look like it wasnt there fault....

I'm not 100% sure on this but Im fairly certain he had an opt out after that season that he was planning on using to get out there and only re-signed after a half season playing with Gasol

Lakers Top 5 scorers. Total Points, Points Per Game, PPG Playoffs:
1. Kobe Bryant - 1970 | 27 | 29.2
2. Pau Gasol - 1190 | 18.3 | 19.6
3. Andrew Bynum - 977 | 15 | 8.6 (injured, Derek Fisher had 10.3)
4. Lamar Odom - 882 | 10.8 | 9.7
5. Ron Artest - 845 | 11 | 11.2

Cavs Top 5 Scorers. Total Points, Points Per Game, PPG Playoffs:
1. LeBron James - 2258 | 29.7 | 29.1
2. Mo Williams - 1092 | 15.8 | 14.4

4. Anderson Varejao - 651 | 8.6 | 5.7
5. Shaq - 636 | 12 | 11.5

So you're going to tell me that Mo Williams is a legit #2? HAHAHA. Noone other than LeBron showed up in the playoffs. Look at the Celtics #s, they are even more all around and score evenly:

No but Antawn Jamison is (a legit #2), who was left off your list. He had been averaging 20 a game his entire career before coming to Cleveland.

Not really. What has he done? Is he comparable to the other guys that I've mentioned previously (Gasol, any of the other Celtic players, etc..)?

Just to add - Kobe demanded a TRADE to force the Lakers to upgrade the roster. Lebron waited to announce that he leaves until all free agents had signed contracts, so that now Cleveland don't have anyone to sign. Do you see the difference?

It is a 2 way st. Cleveland shouda done more to keep him, but realistically he just took himself out of the GOAT talk. He will get rings, and he may even average a triple double now, but he still wont reach GOAT status. He could have reached that level too, its sad as a fan to see this.

What has he done? If you're talking about his career, then what he's done is average 20 and 8, which is GOOD. Absolutely the numbers you would want from a LEGIT number two. As for what he did with the Cavaliers, that is up for debate, although he did average similar numbers. The point here is what LeBron James did; was he making Antawn Jamison a better player?

Where is the line drawn between a player "not helping" and the superstar (James) not making said player BETTER. It is said that Jordan made the players around him better, and that's why the team prospered. Now, I'm not going to tell you that Jamison is a great basketball player, but I am of the opinion that he is pretty fucking good. So you tell me, why is it that when he came to the Cavaliers was he all the sudden a "wash-up"?

I'd gladly take antawn jamison on the lakeshow. bet if we were the team that acquired dude for absolutely nothing, he wouldn't be a bum anymore. stop making excuses for ledouche. he may be an all time top ten talent, but he'll never be an all time top ten player.

As I pointed out, Gasol's FG% went up by 7% after he joined the Lakers and benefited from teams double teaming Kobe. He was an All-Start once if I am not mistaken and he never won a playoff game, and while he is definitely benefiting from the fact that he's playing for the Lakers and the Lakers are the Hollywood team of the league, both in the literal and metaphorical sense, he was rated nowhere near as high as he is now when he was in Memphis.

For all his amazing assists numbers, no players has been playing better with Lebron than before that, something to think about
