I don't think Religions would crumble at all if UFO's were confirmed.


People want to believe in a higher power/meaningful existence so innately that they will interpret ANYTHING in a manner that does not challenge their beliefs.


In other words; if someone found "indisputable" proof that Jesus never existed for example, Christians would just say "well the Bible is really only a guideline that was written by divine influence, this doesn't change anything" ... or "this is just a test of faith"


The majority of people will never renounce their belief in religion (they may change faiths, but they will not give up religion entirely) no matter what happens.

No, modern religion wouldn't fail if UFO's were confirmed. In fact, the confirmation of UFO's would actually be used as 'evidence' by some religious circles. Also, I don't quite understand your statement about the government using Jesus. Would you mind explaining that one?

How does the government use "Jesus" ?

We have a president who says "god talks to him" when making important decisions. Christians eat that shit up, and fallow blindly thinking that these men in government can do no wrong thus supporting there horrible decision making.



I want to know what Aliens confirm? Christians have a hard enough time explaining dinosaurs. Those fools think the world is like 5000 years old?
