my brother in-law asked me why the hell haven't i grown (only grew 1 n half inches since i was in 8th grade) i told him what mchealbatch said most mexicans dont get past 5'8. he told me the reason why blacks in america were big n tall , or stronge is because f slavery n slave masters used to try to breed them like animals n so they would have big babys so they could sell them for more money.

They are trying to compare professional sports to 350 years of slavery and jim crow law and that doesn't work plus it's very stupid. However they don't seem to talk about the years that blacks were blatanly discriminated against in professional sports. Either way both there arguments do not work....

What I said applies to college sports also....
If your good in college basketball than your going to find a job. You can be 5'1" but if you can hang with the bigger players and bring something else to the table than you will find a roster spot. So take what I said in the other thread directed towards you and look at it as if I was talking about college basketball and give me a RESPONSE....

AA takes in quotas of different races of peoples regaurdless of their intelligence and many times the less intelligent person will get get in where a more intelligent person does not.
all i am saying is that what is good for the goose should be good for the ganter.
and quotas based on population %age of the races should also be applied to ALL college sports regaurdless of skills.

AA with different races I'm not entirely sure of, but for African Americans I think it's pretty fuckin justified considering there history in this country.

One problem with this one is if this is about what's good for the gander (whites) than AA for African Americans is attempting to do whats right. Because what was good for the goose during the Jim Crow Law days was not good for the gander. And African Americans were the gander for 350 years, it's time to correct it.....

Are you reffering to Irish Slaves? Thats not fair a comparison, because there was nothing beneath a black slave during those times. Chinese have also dealt with some pretty brutal treatment in America, for example the Chinese Exclusion Act. But weren't blacks excluded in this country also? (Jim Crow Law) plus they were slaves for hundreds of years.......
It's impossible to compare other groups mistreatment in America to one another, because they are all different, and they all have had different affects on each group. Just because we all went through some sort of cruelty by the hands of devlish whites it doesn't mean that we all suffered an equaly amount of cruelty. If we all suffered an equal amount of cruelty this would be a different story. What your doing is comparing a guy that got a paper cut to a guy that got stabbed, they both were injured however each injury they suffered was different.
