That waz pure bullshit cuz hiz grimey material iz made him rich. He just ran out of shit 2 rap about really fast & started catering 2 da hoez. Why give up your core audeince then turn around putting out music that wasn't az good & doesn't even sell az well az your original style?

Wanksta got him on

In Da Club made him Rich

21 Questions got and kept the broads interested

All of these were on the same album. So how did he run out of shit to rap about?

You can argue Wanksta was grimey but In Da Club & 21 Questions were pop records.

In Da Club waz far from a pop record. When I say rich I aint talkin about a few singlez I'm talking about an entire album. Get Rich....waz mostly grimey & Massacre waz more catered 2 dem hoez.

Cause broads buy records. 50 is a business man FIRST. Like I said before, he doesn't get enough credit for being a shrewd business man

lol

No 'In Da Club' = No 10 million sold

I'd call that a pop record.

That's like sayin "Yeah" (Usher) was an R&B record. No. It was a pop record.

But you are going by singles though. 'The Massacre' wasn't 100% for the broads. His singles were though. It's just that the material on The Massacre that wasn't for the broads, wasn't as good as the hardcore material on 'Get Rich...'

I hear what cha saying playa but if 50 knew who did it then he should of took care of that situation yearz ago. Oh but wait! Didn't Bang'em Smurf & crew get down for 50 & waz out lookin 4 the niggaz who shot 50? What waz 50 doing? Nothin. But when Smurf beatz up 50 road manager 50 sendz him back 2 the hood(which I could understand cuz that waz bad 4 business) but when Smurf getz locked up & needz bail $ 50 leaves him hanging & even keepz 300k that waz owed 2 Smurf 4 hiz work he put in on the Guess Who's Back album. 50 iz a real nigga huh?
By the definition, you just gave 50 is a real nigga, because most "real niggas" I know are skanless than a muthafu**a...
Naw but phuck all them cats... except styles, besides the fact heh needs to give up that street shit...I don't know too many cats that would choose teh street life over the lavish life...

basically.

pac's "california love" was a pop record when everything was said and done and so was eminem's "hi my name is".

pop music = popular music

Anywayz it waz fun debating with u but now thiz shit iz getting pretty boring.

New Thread please!!!

What you don't understand is once you hit a certain point in popularity and record sales you cross over to a whole other market .... The "POP" market.

Way to bow out gracefully though. I tend to make people do that. Don't feel bad.

lol ... It was a joke man. I was poking fun at myself.

There's a difference between bowing "down" as you call it and bowing "out" as I stated. Cheer up.

What's worse? Being a "fucking geek" or letting a "fucking geek" get under your skin on the internet. :ermm:

I did win though :cheeky:

Exactly you said it best fam you got alot of knowlegde when it comes to the music biz.

Once you hit Grammy status you are considered a crossover artist bc thats big.

50 Cent, Yung Jocc, , Eminem, Jay-Z, T.I. are all labeled crossover artist.
