ill repeat it, sure.
50 aint street. maybe he was, i dont read into his personal life, how shit went down when he was a hoodlum..
but as far as im concerned, and the point that styles was making, 50 IS NOT STREET. you can say what u want about his lyrics, how bad of a mofucka he was, or maybe still is. im sure he was plenty hood for all of us.. but right now hes far from it. im not insulting him in anyway, ask anyone of the rappers 50 has signed to his label, they all will say hes an amazing business man even scrappy said so on XXL.

now yes, common sense puts it as if you got money, and u might be a target sure u dont wanna live in the streets. I never said that was a bad thing.. im just sayin 50 aint street. cuz hes most certaintly NOT.
According to you "BEING STREET" is a trend like 50 was more street in the 90's but now he is no more...its pure bullshit.
If 50 was a MF in the streets back in the days then he is STREET

the shit about Supreme is that we dont know shit about the story unless being an "insider".As far as i know about him:

He was a living legend drug-lord
he flooded the streets with crack
His crew killed 50's mother < im not sure

I'm gonna keep it nuetral cuz I'm not a fan of any of these niggaz.

Now did I here Styles P say he waz the best hardcore lyracist? GTFOH! He's nice but come the fuck on. Now all of that shit about 50 comin' 2 the hood shit iz stupid. First off I'm from the hood but I have a kid & a lot of responsibilty. I don't even hang out in the hood anymore & I'm not a millionare.. A lot of the people in da hood aint even my calibar. I don't hang with thugz I hang with playaz. I don't date hoodratz & chickenheadz(not saying all females in the hood are but a majority of them are) I fuck with women with good jobz or a real hustle. I go back & fuck with the homiez or a reli if they still live in the hood. I aint scared but I don't hang out on the hood like I did when I waz younger I go where people are productive. When a person startz doing good they have a taste 4 something else. Aint shit in the hood 4 me so I don't go just 2 hang out. Now 50 laughing @ Supreme 4 getiing sentenced iz some ho shit. I don't laugh @ no one 4 going down unless u done did some real foul shit like doing something 2 a kid or something.
Exactly. You're a smart man.

I hear what u saying. I "heard" that Supreme waz behind the attempted ambush of 50. Not sure if itz true though. If it waz someone who tryed 2 kill me I would probably feel releaved but I wouldn't be on air in an interview laughing. 50 waz laughing but people don't know that they used some of 50 music 2 convict Supreme. Thatz why hiz dry snitching azz waz laughing.
As far as the whole snitching ideal goes, aren't the gloves off once you try to take my life? lol

You gotta ask what's worse, a would be snitch or an (accused) attempted murderer?

Something about that logic don't compile, lol

Didn't Bang'em Smurf & crew get down for 50 & waz out lookin 4 the niggaz who shot 50? What waz 50 doing? Nothin. But when Smurf beatz up 50 road manager 50 sendz him back 2 the hood(which I could understand cuz that waz bad 4 business) but when Smurf getz locked up & needz bail $ 50 leaves him hanging & even keepz 300k that waz owed 2 Smurf 4 hiz work he put in on the Guess Who's Back album. 50 iz a real nigga huh?

The sad thing is... Mufuckas know all of this shit and allow it to dictate whether they like 50 Cents music or not. Not sayin that's what you do, but you feel what I'm sayin...

I don't buy into the "real nigga" ideology either because at it's core it represents complete and utter ignorance and self-destruction.

The fuck does bein a "real nigga" get you? NOTHIN but "respect" from other "real niggas". It's an infinite loop of ignorance, lol

Styles Pinero is the truth he on that black poet tip with a twist of street to it. everything he was saying in that interview was real. IMO 50 Cent is one low down dirty muthafucka he even admitted to screwing styles album and money then he switched up what he said anyone peeped that? Cam didnt do nothing wrong Imo if you listen to the whole 59 minute interview you can hear how 50 kept taking shots at Jim Jones numerous times and he also dissed Game for flopping, He said Nas was wack, and he said Jay-Z didnt have it no more.

#9 IM BLACK off styles album is one of the realest and most meaningful rap songs to drop in years. songs like that make me even more proud of my heritage Anytime I roll thru a racist part of town I bump that shit loud with the windows down. Duece out Till next time remember

I'M BLACK!

you really gotta listen to the whole thing. 50 was takin hella shots at Koch. talkin about how thats where you go when the majors don't fuck with you, which may be true, but Jim Jones has done 300,000 off that BAAAALLLLLINNNNN shit, Banks has done 300,000 too... but Jimmy gets 7$ per CD. Do the math.

Cam had me fuckin rollin. he has a point. 50 cent was callin Koch a graveyard and then he lets Prodigy do a deal with Koch, thats not movin right. even if prod did want to do the deal thats because he knows its bread over at Koch if you present yourself right like Jim did.

Yeah I hear u on that. Personally I never waz a 50 fan. Thatz even when he dropped Get Rich...... I just wasn't feeling hiz flow or voice. I makez pretty good hooks but what the fuck iz that? Itz good 4 the club shit but when I wanna hear something with poetic value or just some really good lyrics a hook isn't gonna do shit 4 me. 50 does what he does & seemz like a very interesting person but I just waz never in to hiz music.

This shit is like the WWF round here. I don't understand how so many people get behind 50 sayin he don't have to prove his street cred cuze he got all this money and he's fuckin so so and blah blah blah. But when 50 came into the mainstream rap game he started his whole career talkin shit bout Ja Rule. Then 1 year into 50s mainstream career he was doin the same shit and makin the same songs he was clownin Ja Rule for. After 50 made that song with Joe and started wearin those G-Unit spaghetti strap tops, and then makin all those seductive looks for the camera while it circled round him in slow mo, I was done. He flipped the script after that, but his first album Get Rich Or Die Tryin was straight fire.

Cats don't give 50 Cent enough credit for this move. He killed two birds with one stone with his Ja Rule "beef".

Eliminate the competition - He killed Ja Rule's career... If there was ever a rap battle casualty, it's Ja Rule.

Fill the void left in the market place- Once Ja Rule was dead, there wasn't anybody left to do the "sensitive thug" type songs. In steps 50 and capitalizes...

The buying public has a short memory. The buying public is women. They don't care about beefs and lyrics, or whether an artist is a hypocrite or not; Women just want their 'jams'. That's a huge market and 50 Cent wanted a piece of that market. Ja Rule had it locked. 50 kills Ja Rule and takes over his market.

To me this was pure genius.
