why you bringing up history?? we are 13-3 and in the playoffs that's all that matters. You want to talk about droughts? The raiders haven't had a winning season in almost a decade and haven't won a super bowl since 1983. So can't compare the 30 year slump the raiders have gone on to the winning history the 49ers have.

Means he had a great year with the circumstances he was given.
The Padres' Bud Black won manager (coach) of the year in baseball 2 years ago, did that make him the best? Certainly not. And that's coming from a Padres fan. Coach of the year a lot of the time is due to circumstances. Again, that's not taking anything away for what Harbaugh and the 49ers have done this year. Was just replying to dude saying he is the best coach in football.

While I do agree with this, I also find it ironic. Before this year, 49er fans on here would do nothing but bring up the past. Raider fans would do the same thing too before last year. Not saying you specifically, but a lot of them would. I do agree though, it doesn't matter what you used to be, it's what you are now.
