if you dont know how to punch in then dont attempt it. cuz some folks got shitty ass punch-ins. they be gettin to excited or somethin before they gotta hit that next line. shit gotta be smooth as fuck. I do the shit all the time tho. really it just an overlappin technique. Ludacris do the shit allday, he easy to tell, I aint trippin trackz come out cleaner. but then again. if you tryna perfom that particular song on stage i wouldnt punch in cuz itz hard to catch the last word runnin into the new line. unless ya boy know ya punch lines, but itz eazy to tell who dont do it. cuz they runnin outta breath. She's in the millions Brugh and has gone platinum. Maybe to you, or somebody like myself that have never purchased any of her albums, but the bitch has done her thing. get a few beats.. listen to one.. fuck with it.. probably write like 8 bars then go to the next beat and come back later.. I like to think of a concept b4 I get to writing or sometimes I just write a bunch of punchlines.. i really dont like to cuss that much.. i like using a variety of vocab. drinking works for writing not for recording and smokin works for both lol i like to practice my verses and get the delivery down because whats a song with no good delivery? i swear thats where a lot of nowaday rappers be fuckin up... my writing is like a puzzle....first line of my verse makes it or breaks it...I usually finish the first verse and rhythm the hook out...first line of the second verse is critical....so until I got that tuff I won't finish shit...but when I do get that opening second verse line it's a rap.
