if the price is right and fair, i'll take matt holliday and if we can work out an extension. fuk trading for a half year guy.

whoever we trade for i hope he is no older than holliday unless he is cheap. like delgado.

Nick Johnson is not a good fit for SF, neither is Holiday. I really like seeing them going after Martinez and Dye. I think Dye might be the guy even though we have a bit of a surplus in the OF. He's got a little more power and for his age if we could get rid of a little less and pick up his contract itd be a lot better off than trading some of the young prospects.

yeah we can definitely afford him..

Jermaine Dye.. ehhh he's injury prone and not getting any younger.

we were offered offered Johan Santana a few years ago by the Twins............in return they wanted Matt Kemp, Clayton Kershaw, AND a mid level spospect.............

San Diego wanted wanted Matt Kemp, Clayton Kershaw, AND Johnathon for Jake Peavy this year...........
