baseball is a marathon, not a sprint. i said before the season started you guys looked to have possibly the best pitching staff in the NL. having no offense will catch up imo, during the course of 162 games. we shall see. the first time i saw lincecum pitch i told my pops that he will be a star. he laughed and is bias like you are about the raiders. lol.

we didnt start off with a sprint, we been running the marathon and should keep it up, even with our no offense, weve been working at it, and will get a bat that will help us
cain is good too. he is a sleeper. considering manny hasnt really played too much i expect him to have a monster 2nd half. you guys really have no one to trade. sanchez was worth more a month ago. i think you guys will have to have a better 2nd half than the first to even be a wild card, imo. i just dont see it happening. but good luck.
^^ yup.. we'll probably have a couple call ups when the rosters expand.. Buster Posey is a good possibility but its safer to say he'll be here sometime next season.
1. Sanchez
2. Randy Winn
3. Fred Lewis
4. Randy Johnson
those are 4 decent and realistic trade options especially in the current trade market. these are guys the giants are definitely prepared to move and have talked about moving them. there are other guys too like burriss/ishikawa/bowker
we have a large number of solid prospects that i hope we dont trade.
both are nasty. when bumgarner gets to the bigs its gonna be vicious. then add alderson. oh my. a 5th kid could come up off the radar too. we farming like some farmers for once. future looks nice.
one more note about their stuff. Cain does have a better changeup (one of the best in the L, its filthy) but he developed it and learned how/when to use his pitches, and Lincecum will keep developing as well.
