our team plays with no passion, they dont do the little things that teams that want to win do.

The rockies must want it real bad because they find ways to come back and win games.

we dont work counts, dont steal bases, dont bunt, theres more things we DONT do than things we Do.. DO. Worst part is we lost to the Padres, we shouldnt take any team lightly. PERIOD.

its not like we the only ones either tho, the padres took 2 out of 3 from the dodgers

but it seems that the giants cant get past 14 games over 500, the reason why the rockies are 19 games over 500 is because if they loose 1 or 2 theyll comeback and win 4 or 5 in a row, but the giants win one and then loose one, win 2 and loose 2, we dont have the consistency or the offense that other clubs have, we had various opportunities to take the lead but like you said, they dont work counts and get walks because they always swing at the first pitch

I disagree that the Giants have played the season with no passion. The only reason they are even in contention is they have played hard all year and rode their strengths. They were a team picked by many to be one of the worst in baseball, their hitting is clearly some of the worst in the league, their vetran players have had a mediocre year, and yet every game somehow they are still in it. It seems like no matter what happens, they find a way to stay in the game whether it be Sandoval, Uribe, Ishikawa, the starting pitching, Romo, Affeldt, etc etc. In my opinion theres no logical explanation for how the Giants are at where they are right now except that they come in every game and play to win.

I'm not going to sit around and say I am satisfied completely with our performance. It seems like we find as many ways to lose as we do to win. But the attitude and performance of the team is much better than its been in the last four years and puts us in a position to go to the playoffs this year and pickup major talent in the offseason. Two years ago no one wanted to play ball with the San Francisco Giants but now the Bonds lockeroom is gone and the team is a winner.
