bengie is a sensitive little guy. catching feelings over dumb shit when he needs to focus on getting to the post season. he's hurt and cant catch and 1 catcher isnt enough. its really not complicated. he hasnt been offered a deal yet and thats probably why he caught feelings over calling up posey.

I agree but a lot of times especially it seem like when they report it in the Chronicle that its a bit exagerrated. I mean 4 real if I was Bengie I'd think I'd done enough to get myself an extension. I know Timmy is the Franchise but really Bengie has been the most solid vetran we got and he helped change the culture in the clubhouse from the Bonds days. He's a standup guy and I think he has a right to bring up that he doesn't have a deal. However like I said I think the Chron is making a big deal about this and its not news he'll continue to play baseball.

good 1st win as a Giant for Penny. And the offense actually scored, even though Penny did pitch 8 shutout innings. Hopefully Timmy can continue the same tomorrow.

the man behind the idiots: Bill Neukom.

Has money but knows nothing about baseball, its like if Bill Gates owned a sports franchise.

He said in an interview we're in a rebuilding season.. wtf? last time i checked we're in contention for the playoffs, you pull the trigger on moves that would help the team.

Sanchez, injured, Garko still hasnt panned out, Penny, first day on the job and already has done more than both. We're basically winning with the same team we had before the deadline, plus a pitching reinforcement.
