hell yeah...N2DEEP...N2DEEP...N2DEEP...N2DEEP...N2DEEP...N2DEEP
Yup! After all, getting a song on the radio ("Baby Girl") is half the battle. Jay Tee's always been a combination street/party rapper--a good combo for today's crowds (a lot of whom like to party, dance, get some tookie, and kick some ass if need be, etc.--Jay Tee has exhibited all these qualities on his solos and post '92 N2Deep recordings, and he's got Universal behind him).

Besides 40 Ounce, I'd say:

Quinn and Done Deal--they're talented and could appeal to diverse kinds of fans (i.e., females might love Willie Hen, more hardcore street fans might go for Big Rich or Bailey as their favorite, lyrical freaks would love Quinn, laid-back smoker types might dig Toriano, etc). Don't get me wrong--I'm not stereotyping the DD rappers; just saying that the possibilities of cornering every type of Rap fan possible are endless w/ DD! And wide appeal is key to blowing up (for better and/or for worse. LOL).

Keak The Sneak--IF the Sony deal goes like it should...his voice alone is distinctive and interesting enough to make people listen...

Yukmouth (solo) and FE (Dutch, Mr. Kee, etc.)--the more commercial tunes on Yuk's GODZILLA and FE's WHAT WE DO were well done for those into that kind of thing (which is what radio wants) and Yuk and FE can both still spit good street shit as well for hardcore connoisseurs.

Messy Marv--one of the few rappers I've heard who can do songs about females ("Nikki" from TURF POLITICS) and still come off real (kind of like LL back in the MAMA SAID KNOCK YOU OUT days). That could help Mess a lot...

Sean T. and his associates--just a guess, but Re-Akt and Papoose both could sneak through the door and surprise folks (I like Sean T.'s rapping, too).

PEACE!

the problem is not the rest of the world, it's that we stopped looking for nationwide distro! why don't people see that? now that bash went with universal, and now people see what has happened with that, people gonna look for majors to pick them up. everyone thought they could do it independent and go major on their own with their own label. you get get greedy, you lose, and that is what's been happening. fact is, you have a lot of young doods with their own labels makin rookie moves, people will learn and the attention will come back to the real talent the bay has to offer

So are you saying that Keak Da Snek, The Federation (who already has a deal wit Virgin and one of the biggest songs in Northern Cali) The Frontline (Left & Locksmith), San Quinn, Sean T and a shitload of others don't have a chance---are you kidding. Who is Big Oso and what makes him a lock to kill um in 2004... you must have forgot these people---and wit that said the people I mentioned along wit Messy Marv and maybe Fully Loaded will be makin big noise in the Yay Area.

people like Sean T and KEEK deserve to make it, sean is one of the best in the game, period, and keek is killin em, i just don't see it happening tho unfortunately. while the others may have deals, breaking the ny market is the key, and it is such a fuckin pain in the ass to do as we all know, i can't believe beesh has done it, but off of the momentum of that, jay tee has a great chance cause he is on the album. I don't see the rest that you named being able to do that. i would honestly be SHOCKED to see the others that you named break that market! and no, i don't think big oso loc will break that huge market with his style, but he will make major noise in northern cali, i should've re worded that intially......
