Ya it just means it's not 3 chord songs on the radio, but it's still catchy as hell. Some of their stuff is 80s driven, with the synths and all, but they still have straight up rock songs. Check out Glassjaw if you've never heard too, they're a heavier rock band. Same lead singer (Daryl Palumbo)

Head Automatica wins. It's an offshoot of Glassjaw, but I'd say they're more power pop than anything.

Mmkay now I'm starting to like it lol. The only part I'm still not feeling is Thomas' screaming "This is where we stand", I liked his squeel more than flat out screaming. And "FOR-NI-CATE!!!" may be the best ending to a song ever lolol.

Ya I've listened to it a few times now and I liked it less every listen. It sounds really underproduced, Thomas vocals sound 30 Years War-ish and Tim's screaming sounds like it does live. The riffs are cool though, just not what I was expecting yet.
