Impossible burger from BK is pretty hyphy
I won't eat them. They don't actually extract that one chemical from soy, they synthetically produce it - so it's Soylent green type shit. Granted I'm old so I can eat whatever and I'm not making anymore children on purpose, but I definitely would not let my child/grandchild eat impossible brand. The FDA initially rejected that product but Capitalism and lobbyists always win out. The kids of the kids of the kids are going to be mutated from this product.

They take the chemical from the soy plants they need, multiply it with yeast cells to get more of it, then extract it from the yeast cells. It's not really synthetic, but more of a weird copy of a copy of the original chemical. It definitely isn't tested enough to prove whether or not it's "safe", but I only eat like 2 or 3 Impossible burgers a year at restaurants, so I don't really care. BK is the first one I've had from a fast food spot and their broiler cooked them well done, so that fake blood chemical was cooked out of it anyway.

I fuck with Beyond Burgers way more. They're mostly just pea protein and starches and they use beet juice for their fake blood.

I got this google voice phone number a couple years ago and every couple of weeks when I check it I get voice mails on it from old people who can't get in touch with their doctor or need to re-schedule their doctor's appointment. I get voice mails from all kinds of different numbers too lol always old sounding people. I think some retard doctor is giving out the wrong number.

Impossible Foods’ big claim to fame is that there’s heme in its burgers. Well, here’s a shocker: This heme comes from soy leghemoglobin and contains more iron than that found in the heme of a similar serving of red meat. Having too much iron in your blood can mean a greater risk of developing cancer, especially for men and postmenopausal women. There’s no need to consume heme, since the body makes its own to be used in hemoglobin—which helps transport oxygen in red blood cells.
The Impossible Burger is also more than 50 percent fat, and most of that is saturated fat. In short, the Impossible Burger is probably the unhealthiest veggie burger on the market.
Hmmm

Unlike the heme found in beef, the heme in the Impossible Burger is genetically engineered by adding soy protein to genetically engineered yeast.

Though Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), some raise concern about its potential health effects.
