I never got into Dave's stand-ups. Chappell show is classic though and transcends time.

I watched one of his recent ones and just couldn't get through it. He's more of a story teller with jokes thrown in there. It took him literally 10 minutes from when he started to get a crowd reaction.

IMO - it did start out kind of slow. But towards the middle and end, it was funny as fuck.

Yeah the 20 minutes of Jacksonville, Florida inside jokes almost made me turn off that new Katt special, but I powered through and the special was great after he was done with that lol best Katt special in years.

dave chappelle equanimity was really good too

burr, chappelle, regan, gaffigan, rock, katt before the breakdown, carlin, too many good comdians to name. hicks was good but too preachy and 'talk at you' at times. louis ck has his moments but overall is kinda bland to me

louis ck fucking sucks, fuck bill hicks, and carlin has his moments.
