The hits keep on coming...ouch!
31. Germain Ifedi, OL, Seahawks (Texas A&M)
Snaps: 777
PFF overall grade: 37.6
Germain Ifedi has been one of the league’s worst offensive linemen in his rookie season, playing guard on a team that seems stacked with them. He has surrendered 38 total QB pressures (tied for fourth-most among guards), despite playing only 12 games, and been flagged eight times. His run blocking has at least been passable, but his pass protection needs to improve immeasurably for him to be a viable starter.

I actually still have high hopes for him. Dude is a rookie and he was injured, so he came in with almost no experience and was learning on the job. Still, there are plays where he is dominating. And then of course others he gets made to look like someone's bitch. But I think the talent is there, he's a big strong guy and I believe he's going to improve.
Here is some perspective on Seattle's offensive line. Let's take a look at the best line in the league, the Cowboys. Their left tackle was a 1st round pick, and was extended for $13.25M/year, which is
more than double what the entire SEA offensive line makes and that is
including depth! Think about that for a second, let me say it again - one player on the Cowboys o-line makes more than double than the Seahawks entire o-line combined. That is truly what it boils down to, money. People can blame Tom Cable all they want or blame this or that but at the end of the day they have by far the least amount of money put into their line in the NFL. Everything else is then affected by poor blocking - run game sucks because there are no holed or getting hit behind the line of scrimmage, passing gske sucks because Wilson has 1.3 seconds to throw. Defense is on the field too long because the offense can't sustain drives.
That can only be changed by putting in more money. Snyder and Pete have to do a much better job in this regard and actually give Cable some talent instead of asking him to perform miracles every year which leads to him having to convert defensive players, TEs and start guys who haven't played on the line since junior high school!
Really the only guys I think should stick around are Britt and Ifedi, everyone else should be cut and I'm guessing they won't even get jobs elsewhere (Sowell, Fent and Gilliam for example, i seriously doubt would even be practice squad guys on other teams that's how much of fucking bums they are).
They are going to have to let some guys go, make some trades and spend big money in free agency on top of high draft picks to correct this next season. Otherwise it's going to be a very long process and could potentially ruin Wilson if not physically then mentally, not too mention any running back they put back there whether it's Rawls, Collins or Procise they all are getting beat up.
