That undersized Proksa who was a few fights removed from retiring Sylvester by beating him like no one else had his entire career. Oh and was also a career middleweight.

The funny part is save for his upset loss to Hope who he avenged before fighting GGG people seem to forget the amount of hype Proksa was getting and Golovkin just erased him.

I'll never in my life understand boxing "fans" that will make excuses and defend a guy for not making a fight most fight fans want to see. God forbid the best fight the best, don't want to get us spoiled now.

It's unreal man.

It's one thing to be shifty and use promoters to make excuses or make it seem like its about something else, as bad that is it's nothing compared to literally dropping your belt you earned just to avoid another fighter. That's just downright embarrassing. The same belt Canelo took selfies with on his lap on his jet, the same belt he raised above his head to his fans in Mexico. Just handed it over without a fight. And somehow there are still some people trying to justify it smh

This dude after Khan said weight is not a problem, he's ready for Golovkin, even said he'll lace them up right then and there. He told Abel Sanchez he should check inside his underwear and he'd be surprised to find just how big his balls are. And here we are now. Well, I guess Abel found out all right.

Like I said, the WORLD wanted to see Mayweather vs Canelo. Weight was an issue and that topic dominated 3 episodes of All Access. Canelo was against it, but did it to make the fight. If GGG really wants to fight Canelo, the way Canelo wanted to fight Floyd, then he has to take the demands. Canelo did it for you, the "fan." What has GGG done for the "fan?" When Canelo fought Floyd, he didn't want his title, he wanted to be the best. At any cost. You see, you can know all the facts you want but you are not a boxer. You are a fan, just like me. We just talk about it. They live it. Some die in there. You naner, are just a "fan."

Middleweight is anywhere between 155-160 lbs, not 160 only. Canelo fights at 155, and fights his best at 155. Canelo is giving him 1 extra lb than Mayweather would and would have probably made the same amount of money if not more. Its the same shit GGG did to Ward. Cuz at the end of the day, it's about winning and making the most money out of it. And let's not talk about checking someone's balls, because Sanchez is just a trainer, remember? Not a boxer. That's what Canelo meant. But I'm pretty sure you're just a non boxer that likes to talk about other men's balls too from the sound of it

What demands are you talking about? He didn't even go to the negotiating table, just straight up dropped the belt.

And LOL @ Canelo fighting Mayweather for the fans. He made a gazillion dollars in that fight. And we saw how hard he tried in the ring "for the fans" against Floyd.

It's not the same shit you lying cunt. Was Golovkin a champion at 168 pounds and Ward was mandatory to Golovkin at 168? No? Then stop lying.

In any of these examples that you bring up, has anyone dropped the belt and handed it over to the guy they don't want to fight? Nope.

Again, you keep making it about weight. 155 is not a weight class. There are already way too many weight divisions and yet here we are, with a diva who invented his own just for himself. This diva wanted to fight Cotto at 156 pounds. Golovkin could have easily accepted 157 if push came to shove, but it didn't even get to the negotiating table,,Canelo straight up gave him the belt because they don't want to fight him, period. Let's not sugar coat it. Even his stable mates were calling him a coward on twitter lol

But let's see what Canelo does from here. Good luck selling the Charlo brothers on PPV. He sure as hell can't fight a real middleweight next, not after dropping his belt. Maybe Timothy Bradley will come up to the great 155 pound division, I'm sure Canelo would give us "fans" what we want right? time will tell.

It could swear that the same fans that used to raise hell about the moves Mayweather made as champion are now defending these same actions when made by other fighters-- like they're the standard for a fighter now.
You can act slick and say you weren't talking about me, but let's just say you are. When Floyd first signed to Showtime, I said it was bad for the sport but good for him. I would do the same. That same year he fought his mandatories and I, battle619, named Floyd fighter of the year, while others had GGG. Floyd fought Canelo at catchweight that year. Look it up. That's what I said. So now ask me, do you know the real reasons why I don't like Floyd?

So you were there at the tables along side K2 and GBP? Fuck my bad. I thought you were just a fan. And by the way, you don't know what its like to be a boxer and fight dehydrated in the ring. You are not the one making the sacrafices. Once GGG came out saying his willing to fight certain fighters at a certain weight, then make those fights happen. And like I said before, the fighters do it for the fans and the money don't just use one post of mines

Yes, he will. Because GGG gives us what we want and we will definitely support his ppv's no matter who he fights, right?

Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated said Golden Boy never negotiated with K2.

Let's not forget, after Canelo beat Cotto, the two sides came to an agreement to fight later in the year. The deal was an extension and that each fighter would have one fight. Golovkin won his fight, Canelo won his fight. The what happened? Canelo reneged on the deal and dropped the belt.

lol just like he fought Khan for the fans right? A fight literally no one was asking for. Also a fight that Canelo INSISTED his middleweight belt be on the line (Khan tried to fight him at 154, nelo said nah, we fight for my belt at 155).

Because GGG gives us what we want and we will definitely support his ppv's no matter who he fights, right?
Well Golovkin certainly tried to make the fight the fans want to see with Canelo, can't fault him for Canelo reneging on the deal and handing over his belt.

Lara said he'll fight GGG at 160.
Decent option if GGG can't get Saunders or Jacobs. Eubank said he wants to fight him too I think he's a better fight but Lara probably a bit more name value. Lara has Vanes rematch this weekend, Vanes has looked like shit recently so hopefully Lara can take care of business this time.

But like I said a billion times, Canelo weren't going to fight him until 2017. ODH even said it last year. So why is everyone acting surprised here? Agreement or no agreement, GGG and K2 took that step aside money. They can't complain either. Now lets hope they can get a buyable ppv fight that will get over 500k buys
