Do you weigh it down with a large sandbag?
Because that's the best way to escape being stuck in snow or mud, is sand, and a piece of wood or two
Should also keep a backup blanket in your back seat or something in case your car flips over into a ditch and you're trapped for a few hours
That's a good idea, maybe some candles, a spare set of clothes, a flashlight, a tent and sleeping bag too.
going to also throw some cliff bars in there in case I need emergency rations.
ok

I still suffer from the same crippling depression and have yet to begin living any type of meaningful life. I still feel just as fat and if anything things are worse; I'm more alienated from friends and family and feel more hopeless than at any point in my life. I've been strongly considering suicide, well, i always have truthfully. If my grandma dies any time soon ill probably do it

lol

i was genuinely scared when i was driving from NYC to niagra falls and watching the temperature gauge dropping to below zero. it also started very lightly snowing. i have no experience driving in icy or snowy roads so dont know anything about how to drive on it.
1. Always slam on the brakes when going into turns, it makes your car way easier to control.
2. Never keep a consistent speed. Try to alternate between 10-35 mph below the speed limit especially if there are several cars behind you.
3. Try and drive as close as possible to the person in front of you; your wheels will get caught in their jet-stream and it'll help keep you in control and also saves on fuel
4. Use your high beams at all times; the brighter the lights the easier it is to see through the thick snow
5. Chains are for the weak and scared, if you see chain advisories ignore them especially if you have 4WD, those things can drive through anything
6. Try and change lanes as much as possible to cut up the snow for other drivers and so the snow doesnt get packed down into grooves causing other drivers to get stuck
7. If you get stuck, floor the gas, the heat and friction will melt the snow and you'll lurch up out of it

That was distasteful and isnt sitting right with me; I think those people who actually do try and go on mass killing sprees or whatever are the absolute worst tbh, and the way the media feeds it and basically has caused a couple of them is pretty disgusting. I think that church shooter said the media coverage of trayvon martin was why he did it, then i think the sandy hook guy said something about wanting to be famous too... the people running all those stories should answer for that shit especially since Obama brought it up
