My carry limit is 230 lol
I think mine was too for a long ass time, but you can cut yourself down to like 70lbs with all your gear and aid and weapons and stuff, and that's pretty much more than enough if you are looting efficiently, it's enough loot to wipe out multiple vendors lol

FUCK YOU
You know you can just walk up to your workbench and hit "T" to Store All Junk right? Or whatever key it is on console.

And tab over to your "Modifications" tab and store all those weapon and armor mods at the work bench. If you've been modding weapons and armor they get stored in your inventory, and they have weight like 0.5lb each, but you can store them at your workbench and use them like they're in your inventory but without the weight

I always fast travel and dump off junk before going into a building the mods I did not know thought you had to carry them to use them

I've been wearing power armor around lately too just so I can carry more lol. It bumps me up to like 320 or so. Since setting up the supply lines I try to grab absolutely everything I come by now. Before the supply lines I wasn't picking up much of shit cuz I got sick of having to go through the inventory and dump shit all the time

This is a helpful ass tip Butcher. I know my mod screen is fucking stacked with items. That should shave down a shit load of weight right there

I had like 80 pounds of weapon mods on me at one point I was trying to figure out where all this dead weight was coming from then finally realized each one is half a pound, mind blowing moment lol. But you quickly realize it doesn't matter if it's 230 or 350 you'll always need more space, you'll always want to pick up that last Jangles The Moon Monkey or circuit board or perfectly preserved toaster. Always. It's like an itch you can't scratch when you leave some item behind

Im really digging the critical hit banker perk. Shit is super useful for when you encounter some tough opps. And now I'm investing in the grim reaper one so kills in VATS have a chance of filling your critical meter. I'm becoming a one head shot beast with Kellogg's 44

i can't max out lock picking until level 41 I'm at 28 gonna just use points on the gun perks and the perk that helps you get more ammo from boxes
You don't even need the last lock picking perk because all it does is prevent bobby pins from breaking. Just get the first three levels and you can pick any lock.

I've always wanted the critical banking perk, is that under Perception? You remember what it's called and what level requirement?

Can a guy buy shipments of plastic or is that acquired only by junk?
You can and it's really cheap. Pretty sure the Mr Handy merchant in Diamond City sells it. I just bought some yesterday for just 90 caps (my charisma at the time was like 13 or 14).

If you ever can't find something or aren't sure of the merchant, you can Google and find lists of all shipment merchants and their locations that's how I found the cloth merchant at that farm by sanctuary hills.
