Lol it's being realistic. There's a genuine hate for all the bandwagon fans of the Seahawks too. You could poll 100 Seahawks fans and they couldn't name the last 3 Seahawks coaches, or tell you that Holmgren was a product of the 49ers. If you're a real fan, cool, no hate. It's all the bandwagon fans that annoy me.

Breh, EVERY sports franchise in the history of sports that have been successful have bandwagon fans. Even your beloved 9ers (they hopped on in the 90's).

I was at Just Sports buying some gear and i noticed they had some Canucks' beanies. I asked if they sell and he said "nope...not even one. Most people want Blackhawk stuff...and Golden State stuff". Why? "Because they are champions in their sports, so people hop on the bandwagon."

So all you 9er fans can really kiss our Blue and Green asses. Sure, there are bandwagon fans. So fuckin what? So do the Chicago Bulls, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the NY Yankees. Its what happens when you WIN.

It's barely a rivalry. The 49ers won 5 Super Bowls before the Seahawks got bounced out of the AFC west. Seattle has been good, no question, but over the course of history? Not really. A lot of teams have highs and lows. Seattle has done well but the contracts/salary cap will catch up with them soon. Enjoy it while it lasts.
I wasn't asking for a history lesson man. The Seahawks/49ers rivalry was one of the most heated rivalries for a minute and it had nothing to do with the histories of the franchise's, it had to do with Pete Carroll vs Jim Harbaugh, Seahawks and Niners being the top two teams in the division, the physical nature of both teams, Kaep vs Wilson and most importantly the fans. This wasn't some historical Bears vs Packers type deal, it was simply a fierce rivalry of being the best two teams in the division plus the added shit above.

The added comment about salary caps is comedy though. Isn't that what everyone said after they won the super bowl? Everyone got paid their money, they are good. They will be good as long as John Schneider and Pete Carroll are here. Good teams that last start from the top, from ownership on down and that has been shown in how incredibly successful they've been over the past 5 years.

Doesn't want history lesson, proceeds with own history lesson lol I know all that man. I didn't refute that they have been successful. The 49ers had a crappy last two years, but also had a ridiculously successful 3 years prior to that. Like I said, highs and lows. Seattle may very well be good for a long time, I'm simply saying that history isn't on their side based on the way the league is set up. Some franchises get over that easier, like the 49ers did in the past, Steelers, Broncos, Patriots, etc... Will they have 10+ wins for 17 out of 18 consecutive seasons and win 5 Super Bowls in that stretch, probably not. I hope not, it would be hell to see that as a 49ers fan lol

Bro I made a simple comment about how I wished Harbaugh was still there because it's not been much of a rivalry since. You understand? No need for "it's barely a rivalry" and "49ers had 5 superbowls blah blah" nothing in my comment implied anything else. Just take the comment at face value and move on.

And how many bad years prior to that? They had three good years with Harbaugh and that's it. He was the reason for their success and it's going to be tough to fill those shoes especially with this ownership.

Cool man, radical. I'm not too worried since the ownership is great, they have a franchise QB who will be playing a long time and Dan Schneider will be here a long time and Pete Carroll couple more years at least. This, I remind you, is following making the playoffs 10 out of the last 13 seasons with three superbowls and one ring. I mean let that sink in. We've been in the playoffs 10 years out of the last 13 years. In that same time span you guys went just three times (all under Harbaugh). That's due to great ownership like I said before good teams that last start at the top and that's proven with successful teams like the patriots, the seahawks, etc. It's why teams like the browns always suck and even teams like the bangles and the lions just can't ever get it together even if they happen to have some talent.

I get that you're going to be subjective, and that's fine, but the Seahawks have made 10 out of the last 13 playoffs but like 13 out of the last 27 playoffs or something like that. The success has come at the hands of 2 excellent coaches and some good fortune.

The 49ers were kind of a perfect storm for 3 years and had one of the most talented rosters in football that just couldn't put it all together. Injuries, retirements and free agency hurt us, just like most teams go through. Our front office built that team that we had a few years ago, and we'll see what happens going forward.

As far as the Seahawks, you better hope they win another super bowl or everything they did won't really mean anything long term to anyone outside the Pacific NW. No one talks about all the Super Bowls the Broncos went to before they won 2 in a row.

No, but everyone talks about the Bills 4 in a row SB's...ESPN even had a 30 for 30 on it. Not saying is a good thing to lose 4 SB's, but hey.

No if you understood my point you would have got that I was saying its about having good ownership. It wasn't a coincidence that after new ownership came in they got Mike Holmgren.

I might buy that if not for the fact they had a talented roster before Harbaugh took the job too. It's bad ownership. You got a clueless ceo in Jed York that all of the niners fans know is shit.

Honestly could care less what anyone else thinks outside of the NW, it's our team after all. They already put themselves in the history books with a historic defense and superbowl and have been extremely successful over a decade which is more than most all teams can say besides a couple elite teams here and there (the patriots etc).
