I get that and don't refute any of that. I also agree that York and Baalke for that matter are idiots. Harbaugh gets most of the credit for getting Alex Smith in line, which was a major issue. Harbaugh also had the good fortune of the 49ers having an insane number of draft picks, and a lot of those picks ended up helping the team quite a bit. That's why players often thank the organization, not just the other players or coaches.

time to go back to the draft. maybe you can guys draft a bunch of young superstar talent in one area like the rams did with their d-line and try and play spoiler in the division or something. hang in there bub im sure you're going to be able to build a decent team with all these high picks the next few years lol

Marshawn: "I'm ready."

That could be big. I know he hasn't played in a long time but he's a vet and I know he'll be running hard, it's the playoffs. With that said I want to see their offense come out attacking Carolina's secondary, start out with quick short passes, take a shot or two deep with locket to stretch the field which opens the run for lynch later. This is their best chance of winning - getting the pass game going early, in particular the quick short to mid range pass game. If they make this all about the run and can't convert 3rd downs and play it tight all game I don't think their defense is going to be able to stop Carolina for 4 full quarters, they can hit you too many different ways. Efficient passing game is vital. Can't have another Vikings/Rams performance obviously.

I would feel good about it...if i didnt know the stat of Marshawn playing and our W-L record this year. Its pretty telling. Lets hope it doesnt actually mean anything.

It doesn't mean anything. What was the W-L record the prior three years? Start of the season o line was horrible, Lynch was never really healthy and the offense was bad in general. As long as the game plan isn't solely around Lynch, which it isn't, there's no problem. Lynch has to compliment what they are doing not the other way around. So if they can get the passing game going early, that makes it easier for Lynch to have some good runs. Now if they are trying to power run the entire game and that's the strategy, then if Lynch isn't up to par it's going to end poorly. But with him gone for so long there is no way they are planning on relying on him for the majority of the offense.

for some reason we have a pattern of destroying the saints and panthers when the games actually have meaning and especially in the playoffs... so i hope that trend continues with a dominant win and embarassing loss for the panthers lol. if the panthers end up winning theyre going to be the annoying new rival i guess, like the rams but with an offense lol

Kind of nervous about this Carolina game... We played like trash the last game, pretty much completely lost. Granted it was like -7 and the ball was doing crazy shit, was extremely hard to catch etc, still, could've done much better. I can't take another stressful game there's been too many we need to dominate this shit
