lol yeah shes the only merchant ive found so far that sells Shipment of Oil (25 oils). and i always always need oil its such a pain in the ass. after clearing out some buildings though ive looted a shit load of bones, and you can use bones + some other stuff at a Chem Station to make Cutting Fluid, which has like 3 oils each or something like that, got a ton of oil that way
You'll run into that dude lucas miller before too long. I have all the available stores at like 3 of my settlements m slowly gonna get them at all

Did you actually physically bring the steel from the drive in back to sanctuary @20-sixx? I think only Junk gets shared, but actual raw components don't for whatever reason, but seem to be available to all if you bring it to sanctuary, then again I'm not sure. lol man its confusing but maybe worth a try?
No, steel should definitely be shared. I know this because when I liberate a new settlement or whatever and will have no steel, then set up a supply line and then steel is available.

Holy shit though. I just realized I may not have a settlement at the drive in. It was one of the first places I discovered in the game, scrapped everything there and don't recall if I set up anything lol. Be right back.

Got the Ballistic Weave ability now. Army fatigues and any other outfit you can wear under armour can be modded, up to 110 damage resistance plus whatever armor I'm wearing on top of that. Hell jeah this is dope
What the fuck? 110? That's like my entire set of heavy combat armor fully upgraded thats so fuckin overpowered lol

Yeah it's definitely worth doing plus it opens up a huge part of the story.

You can also get other armored clothing like suites, tuxedos, etc. Not as high but significant like around 80 I think.

The Silver Shroud outfit can be upgraded too if you've done those side quests, I think that Ghoul will upgrade it a total of three times (I've got two so far and its like 95 or 110 can't remember).

Haha man, how'd you even manage to get the suit? It's a side quest, one of my favorite in the game (that and the USS Constitution). Talk to the ghoul in the memory Den in Goodneighbor, he should start the quest for u. U probably shouldn't wear the suit when u first go there though. After he starts the mission you have to tune in to his radio station while in Goodneighbor which tells you what to do.

You must have stumbled across the comic book store then. No worries, just one less objective when you meet the ghoul. Just don't wear it when u meet him he'll probably be confused as fuck and the game will explode lol

Goodneighbor is cool you'll like that place.

I see what u mean about the drug deal, just did that. I didn't realize all the drugs were in the crates either.

So my character has high charisma so I was able to pass all the speech checks with that woman ghoul, and I got it so she gave me her password etc and let her live. But every single time afterwards the bartender guy would try to kill her. He only had a knife and she's packin a machine gun. Needless to say she smoked him. So I'm thinking, maybe there is a way they can both live. I reloaded like ten times, just watching them two fight it out, sometimes he'd get smart and pick up a gun from a dead body, take cover and fire. But he always died. So finally I reload and I just stand in his way while she runs off. I block him for a while until finally dialogue enters. Seems like he's decided to leave town anyway. Ok. Well at least I got them both to live. My question is you had to barter some kind of 50/50 or 70/30 deal? Between who? That never came up for me.

When that guy tries to kill the ghoul he got killed, then she ran off, and the other guy was basically like "looks like its just you and me"

Played a bunch of FO4; took me forever to "follow the freedom trail" i was super stoned ended up clearing like 5 buildings first lol. Did a bunch of quests got ballistics weave on some army fatiques and on a newsboy hat. Starting to tear stuff up, turned it to very hard but I keep getting one shot by missiles and fatmans and well placed grenades lol. Still fun as fuck

Respec'd myself to pistols instead of rifles, but I kinda miss the recon scope I might go back I dunno. There's something satisfying about using that scope and hitting people hiding behind cover. Plus I miss having like 32 bullets before reloading lol

Yeah the ballistics weave is cool. It's weird only a select few things can be modded, doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason as to what clothing u can mod seems kinda random. Like you can use it in the battered fedora, but not other fedora's. Still cool though.

You don't use sniper rifles anymore? I like using my .50 for long range, pistols for everything else. .44 still my favorite go to gun. Although the silenced pistol you get from The Freedom missions is pretty awesome, wo many VATS points.

I still haven't found the railway gun. Wtf
