If the season was only two games you'd have a great point but starting 0-2 literally means fuck all. Good teams start bad and bad teams start good every year. Things even themselves out over the course of the season obviously.

2-0-Sixx @2-0-Sixx is over here like "can week 3 please be a tie"

On the positive side one team should win haha
Not really. I'm going for the Hawks in this case since the only way for the Bears to get better is for them to get worse by facing the hard truth that Jay Cutler needs to go. I'm tired of defending his poor play they need to rebuild this team from the ground up and start over, the Cutler era was a failure and they need to move on. Him winning a few games will only prolong the inevitable so what's the point in wasting any more time. There are way too many problems in Chicago to list here but it starts with Cutler. Forte deserves better than this shit. I'm obviously not alone most fans in Chicago feel the same way and can no longer support Cutler.

What excuses? I think most people here are quite aware of the problems they have but there isn't anything that isn't fixable and they've had slow starts two of the last three seasons prior, so it's somewhat predictable. We saw in the preseason how they didn't look ready at all and figured it would be a tough start. We've seen all this before. Now if it's week 6-7 and things still aren't clicking then we got a problem, but remember last year they were 3-3 and didn't have their identity yet, which obviously they ironed out. Still plenty of time to get on track.

i like the optimism from the hawks fans. hope your team pulls it together.
hopefully the superbowl loss did not break their spirits to the point of no return.
most all these guys won a superbowl the year prior, they got their rings so I don't think they have their spirits broken by losing one.

San Diego had their way with Seattle second game of the season if I remember correctly, people were all what's wrong with Seattle they look bad, then they barely beat Denver and lost back to back games against the Rams and Cowboys, people were panicking! It was alright.
