College is dumb as hell, these circuits classes i have to take are so irrelevant to a computer networking job.

Why am i learning how to find the quiescent point of a bipolar junction transistor or wiring a step down transformer, when the fuck will I ever do that in networking?

You won't do that in networking, but when you lose that networking job because the IT field's average job turn around time is 2 years you'll have a deeper resume if a job comes up where you'll have to find the quiescent point of a bipolar junction transistor or wiring a step down transformer.

Why would you want to limit yourself and only learn one thing? That shit will kill you in the IT/engineering/electronics industry.

My main frustration is that it is my hardest class and I'm putting the most effort into it when it isn't field I want to get in. It interests me a lot just has a tonne of math which I both suck at and hate. I get your point though, i just dont think in proficient enough at it to ever get a job in it.
