The attack in France brings up issues like freedom of speech and expression, multiculturalism and integration, and radical Islam in the West, which are all more relevant to a western audience.

Plus, stuff like that happens all the time in parts of Africa, while armed militants attacking people in France is not a common occurrence. Also, after the attacks in France a lot of people were trying to push the "Islam is a religion of peace" narrative, and having news of mass killings by an Islamist group wouldn't support that.

But at the end of the day, it should definitely be getting more coverage than it is, as it's part of a larger problem that is only going to get worse in a number of countries from north Africa to south Asia.

What these don't mention is the car was going the wrong way on the freeway. It was hella fuckin foggy and the car popped up outta nowhere. My potna was drivin and swerved but the guy still hit us, fucked up the back passenger tire and ripped off the bumper so it was dragging behind us....if my potna didn't swerve the guy would've hit us head on. Glad it wasn't worse
