Not as good of a story but me and
@nolettuce
's old friend who was the nephew of the GM of the Pizza Hut we all worked at and one of our weed connects was this little Burmese kid that went by Chicky. Chicky hung with a bunch of Vietnamese and Burmese Crips from Lake City and while not a gang member himself was a hustler for sure who would later go to prison for stabbing a dude that was going to testify against him for moving quite a bit of weed in the leg with a screwdriver on a basketball court with dozens of people around in the middle of the day. Anyways one day I'm chilling home and this dude pages me, I call back, and he's like "Come around with me to drop off a bunch of weed, I'll smoke mad blunts" and of course I say sure. I've known Chicky a couple years by this point, he's a really cool yet peculiar little dude. He pulls up in a this littler knockoff yellow sports style car, I forget what type, and I get in. Dude passes me a blunt I spark it, try to pass it back, and he's just like "Nah that's yours." So we are driving down this road behind the condos I live at talking and he hits play on the tape deck. The opening instrumental buildup begins and I'm thinking "Hmmm this sounds so fucking familiar" and he's telling me all these places he has to go to make drop offs. "Where in the fuck have I heard this before?" I'm thinking to myself when all of a sudden....
Blame it on the rain, yeah yeah
Blame it on the stars, woooh
"Bro are you listening to Milli Vanilli?"
"Yeah dog, Milli Vanilli is that playa shit man"
"................"
I just bust up laughing uncontrollably as this little Burmese Chicken Little looking motherfucker starts grooving to the song. Still one of the funniest things ever. If you knew this dude it would make it even that much funnier.
