A) Who in here is disputing this?

B) Everyone is alot of people. Contrary to popular belief, the amount of people that DL music as a whole is rather small.

C) When the consequences of an action are far and few between, it makes the reasoning behind it much more acceptable. The amount of people that get caught shop lifting compared to those getting indicted for stealing music is not even in the same ballpark.

TRUE! But if one really, really, really wanted some artists new CD, then somehow someway (Christmas gift, your GF buy it, etc.) then you would support that artist with $10 of your hard earned $. We waste $ everyday on coffee, fast food, alcohol, etc. Everybody likes music. But if everybody was truly involved with the music and Loved it, then they would have NO PROBLEM Supporting it. I'm not picking on you, but you brought up a very important THOUGHT. Your Word of Mouth is still part of the process, spread positive messages about this music and artists and maybe you will spark someone else to purchase Your favorite Indi Artist and his or her hustle!
