I download stuff from there all the time. I dont care what any of ya say because most ya that say f da downloading I buy cd probably dont have bills to pay and are still livin with there parents. I have rent car payment and most important I have my 9 month old daughter I have to put first. Why would I go buy a cd in this rough economy right now when I can rather put that money toward my daughter education.
Which is exactly why the same guys like you end up sayin "Why hasnt Lynch dropped yet? Wheres Killa Tays album? Where's so and so?"

Cuz of you fuckin leeches that cant afford 10 dollars. LOL.

hate it or love it all you old skool catz are stuck in the 90s. yall sound like some old farts that was bitching because cds came out so folks werent fucking with tapes any more. get over it yall. the bottom line is that cds don't sell any more and if they do its decreasing dramatically and never will be the same again. step your game up and find other avenues in this business to collect revenue. people that do buy cds do it out of love for the artist. guess what though not every one is going to love your ass.

ps. i know folks are gonna hate me for this but i don't give a fuck. the truth hurts bitches lol!
AND THIS GUY...mad cuz he was getting clowned in his own thread and was still too stupid to see it. Have any good lunch meetings yet? Hopefully someone comes and ROBS your jewelry store...I bet you won't chalk it up to your 'game not being stepped up' properly. Some of you dudes are too fuckin much.

Some of you broke ass muh fuckers that cant afford 10 bucks, are a joke & dumb as shit.

dont listen to what you cant afford.

dont buy a car if you aint got the money.

dont buy jewelry if your bank account aint right.

dont eat if you have no appetite.

....special shout outs & thank you for ruining the independent rap game!

you win the prize.

fuckin retards.
I dont think its a matter of not being able to afford it, but rather a matter of WHY should something be bought if you can get it for FREE? If you had the option of getting a new TV free, or spending $1000, which route are you going to go? Heck, if you had the option if getting a free meal, or paying $10 for that meal, which would YOU chose?

This begs the question of humans being greedy by nature or does it evolve over time by parents/society/culture. But that is a whole other thread.

I dont debate that. My debate lies in the fact that the site in question says it supports Bay Area's independent scene, when in fact we all know it does not. If it were just long out of print downloads, fuck it, go to town. But something that just came out ( or not even came out yet ) downloaded by hundreds sometimes thousands of potential buyers is bullshit. If youre gonna do it, at least have the nerve to man up and say "We aint supportin shit but stealing your work". I'd have MUCH more respect for that.

I 100% agree with that and addressed that in an earlier post in response to someone who said that the site did in fact SUPPORT the Bay 100%...

No, they dont. They are doing the exact OPPOSITE of that. Putting up albums for FREE? How is that supporting....ANYTHING?

I COULD get get a bag of frozen shrimp at Albertsons for free by going in there and taking it and walking out, but i CHOOSE to pay for it. Its the same concept with music except its easier to not get caught

Which makes it all the more enticing...
but if everyone gave into temptation and stole groceries, grocery stores wouldnt make money, and would eventually close, leaving us with no grocery stores.

So by choosing to download instead of buy, you are voluntarily contributing to the death of the industry that you love for your own benefit
