Austraillians are confused at the word "negro", they think " nigger" is both the polite and rude way to speak of black people

I mentioned before that part of the ownership group of our barbershop intertwines with the ownership of several medical marijuana dispensaries in the bay. One of the guys that comes in a lot is Mike Nolin, who is the ceo, coo, president and every other important position one can be of several companies. That I know if he is the founder and CEO of BOSS Enterprises, and president of The Green Door in SF. Dude is super nice, and super rich, probably the richest guy I've ever met. Dude owns mansions plural, Bentleys plural, and a jet, vintage muscle cars, all types of shit. Today he dropped his son off for a haircut in his brand new Rolls Royce he had shipped from Miami. It would almost be obnoxious if he wasn't such a genuinely nice guy.
It dosent really matter how yall refer to us...but when u hesitate it makes it seem worse.
Like if u tell a black person a story starting with "therr were some black dudes up the street and..." ...thats fine, just say that.
But if u have to fumble around with how to word it, like "there were some...uhh...you know... Some young african americans"... Or u start pointing to the black dudes arm insinuating the people were of the same skin color... Thats what not to do.
