I'm using the arizer solo which was $140 when I ordered it. I haven't researched vapes in awhile but if I could go back I'd probably just get a pax vaporizer so I can travel with it in my pocket without worrying about the glass stem like with the solo.

You kinda have to decide what you're looking for when you compare vapes. For instance convection vs conduction, stealth vs bags and a tabletop, battery life if portable vs overall taste and efficiency. Theres cheap ones like the magic flight light box but they require finesse. There's also new ones I habent checked out

There used to be issues with the mouth piece coming loose after time and either breaking off or it just kinda attaches very loosely and can fall off easily but I think they've been solved. Yes its plastic but it shouldn't pose any issue, the chamber isn't plastic and you aren't heating it enough to burn and there's nothing really to leech into the weed. You also have to "lubricate" the mouth piece with propylene glycol so it doesn't resinate and seal onto the unit, and cleaning it is intricate vs the solo where you just swirl a qtip with alcohol in the chamber and you're done. Its not quite as efficient as the solo either. But my tolerance is seriously like near zero and it'd be cool to hide it in my hand and take stealth hits and just put it in my pocket when I'm going to friends houses vs putting it in a bag and wrapping the glass stem in a rag so it won't break
I wouldn't pay $250 though no way it needs to drop down to $150-100. Sometimes it goes on mass drop sales for like 150
