Lost lake up here by mt hood. When me and my fam(my ol lady and 2 daughters) go, we go bout 12 miles outside of estacada to a spot called memaloose lake. Its a fucking STEEP mile and a quarter foot hike up to it. Cross 4 creeks and hella switchbacks. But when you get up there? Totally fucking worth it bruh. Its a little pristine mountain lake. Barely anybody goes up there. If they do the max I've seen em stay is an hour. So when you're camping the entire lake and lil mountain top is yours. I've seen a few people bring their poles but i never catch em leaving to see if they got anything

Funny story about that place. First time we went there was like the beginning of fall. So we are getting up to the first creek crossing and shit is legitimately sketchy. Like, pretty powerful water and if you slip your going down a fucking 40-50 ft cliff. Ok maybe 30-40. But still pretty crazy. My youngest was 5 at the time so the shit was hella worrisome right? She looks at me and says, daddy i got this. Lol

Taco Time is fuckin awesome... I've always enjoyed those crisp meat burritos. I've never had Skippers but I've had their cocktail sauce and the tarter sauce and they are both good
