He hasn't fought anybody for 4 years. All his comeback fights have been in the last few months, and he's in the best shape of his life.
What does being 42 mean? Foreman was 45. And Wlad is about to be 39.
It's not skill or record or anything mandatory that could get Briggs to Wlad, its profile, whats gonna get people paid...Foreman was unranked when he got his shot at Moorer...The last American champion, dudes been talking shit for close to a year (at this point), crashed his workouts and weigh-ins, came back in the best shape of his life specifically to fight Wlad, and Wlad, thinks Briggs wouldn't stand a chance...He's the exact person he'd fight, perceived low-risk shit talker that will get him paid.
And I'm not even saying Briggs would handle Wlad, Im just saying Briggs is the kind of guy that could land that one punch.
Then it would be over, whoever he'd fight next would probably tear him apart, lol.
But I don't think it's impossible.
