Here you go, a list straight from CBS Pittsburgh. All actual restaurants.

Best Mexican Food In Pittsburgh « CBS Pittsburgh

They do list Mad Mex and On The Border at the very bottom in its own seperate Chain Restaurant category.

I'll do a quick review on all of these, as I've been to each of them.

El Campesino - the best mexican chain in pittsburgh. It's about the same as Chevy's. Way overrated.

Patron - about the same as El Campesino, but their drinks are better.

Cocina Mendoza - is in Castle Shannon, not pittsburgh. Thats like saying Sacramento is in the bay.

Rey Azteca - is in Penn hills. See above.

Cozumel - This place is a couple blocks from my house, and we've only been there once. It was fucking nasty.

Franklin Inn Mexican Restaurant - I've actually never heard of this place.

Jose and Tony's - is in Mt. Lebanon, not pittsburgh.

Hungry Jose's Sports bar - not even in the same county as pittsburgh.

I pretty much gave up hope about a year ago. I never saw them mention anything about a new project or going on hiatus so who the hell knows.

yeah Lopatin is OPN. I think it's fucking garbage and I don't understand all the hype around it.

After a bit of googling, Ford started a new label last year called Driftless Recordings. I'm assuming Lopatin is running Software solo now. Ford dropped an LP last year with Leanne Macomber of Neon Indian under the name Ejecta. The couple songs I heard sound like the synthy stuff of Channel Pressure so I'll definitely check the album.

Also, Ford just dropped his first song under his real name
