saw The Green Hornet when we were in Seattle.
I don't think kids under 5 or 6 should be allowed at the theater at all unless its specifically a young children's movie. And nobody under 10 after 9pm in any movie. The theater is way too expensive to have any tolerance for everyone's shenanigans with kids.
I go to a late showing to avoid small kids, $23.50 to get in, $5.10 for a soda, I snuck Arby's in so I didn't get food, but assuming another $10 at least for food stuff. Damn near $40 to have your shitty kid hamper my experience, fuck you, come back at noon tomorrow, or find a sitter.

I had a certain amount of tolerance in mind, knowing I was going to an opening weekend movie. I figured, there might be a lot of people, there are going to a couple cell phones here and there, there might be some talking, my seat might get kicked once or twice, someone might step on my foot, reasonable expectations I would say.
What I wasn't prepared for was sitting in our seats, and having the couple in front of us sit down with a toddler in the dad's lap, and the mom set a baby carrier with an infant in it in the chair next to her. Then, literally, 10 other similar kids show up.
Oh well. I still enjoyed the movie.
