You know, I'm not pro Comcast by any means and I think the monopoly they have on shit is absurd, that said all the other companies charge more or less the same rates and I've never had a major problem with them. I have heard some horror stories though.

In fact my 2 year contract is up this month and I just called and got a new one where I'm paying $40 less a month then I'm now, get 40 more channels (I do lose Showtime though but I'm getting NeoGeo and shit like that which I love watching) and I get my DVR for free again the first year of the new two year contract.

So yeah, no real complaints on my end. Also maybe it's because I'm downtown but I've had very little service issues. I had a couple faulty modems but they were out within 3 days to change them out and I got credited for the downtime on them and then some.

About to just get tv and internet.

With Comcast? I'll be paying $120 a month after taxes for two years (paying $160 right now and have been for the last year - was $120 the year prior) with no raised rate the two years this time and will be getting 190 channels, Starz (no Showtime anymore though), DVR for a year free (then $15 a month more for it if I want to keep it), cable internet, and home phone. Sounds like you are getting bopped breh.
