he actually just used some on my head and i liked it so then he told me i could get it at any hair product store so i just grabbed any brand. im not sure what brand it was but it came in a red canister.

Oh, ok.

I ask because you get barbers telling people they need a certain brand and then charge them $25 for the crap they stock. When you can get a can anywhere for $2-$10.

I keep a can of Murrays to use on people, it's like $2.50. I also recommend Dax as far as cheap, oil-based pomades. Dax also sells a vegetable based shampoo to wash that crap out.

Your other option is water based pomades which wash out easier. I recommend Cock Grease. It's about $10.

I'm going to be starting at Fruitvale Barbers after the owner gets back from vacation. A few nights a week until I take my state board test. Then full-time.
