I always thought it was funny how ppl could like a band then wear their tshirts and learn everything about the band and passionately defend and talk about them. And they only hang out with ppl that listen to the same band. Then as soon as they become commercially successful they abandon them and call them sellouts. I'm with you on that. I rarely give up on bands. There's just a handful of bands I casually liked in middle school high school I can't stand now. There's a ton of cringy early 90's pop punk stuff I liked back then that I still like now so I don't know. Mainly tool, rage against the machine, and Alice in chains. Used to like all of them, can't stand it now.
