Percy Harvin out for Seattle Seahawks, Carroll says

The window has closed on Percy Harvin's chances of suiting up on Sunday for the Seattle Seahawks' NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll declared Friday that Harvin will not play due to lingering effects from a concussion.

"It's super-disappointing for Percy," Carroll said at the news conference. "He wants to play. You could see it. He played his tail off when he had his chance. Just unfortunate circumstances, you know. He'll be back practicing next week. He'll be ready to go and get back on the field, and we'll be thrilled to have him back.

"But we have functioned the way we function because we don't let things like that get to us and disturb us, and how we're thinking, and how we're preparing and all that. We would love to have him, but not this time."

Earlier, a source informed of Harvin's condition told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the wide receiver had not gained clearance from his concussion as of Friday morning.

Harvin incurred the injury during the Seahawks' 23-15 victory over the New Orleans Saints during Divisional Round Weekend.

Which exactly proves my point. Here is a picture you found on some 49er forum or whatever. You posted it already in another thread. Further, it compares the playoff stats lol! Seahawks have had one game. It's silly and meaningless.
oh i wasnt sure if you were even looking at the other thread...however these stats are for only the games last week nothing more
