Alright Seahawks fans, what was going through your minds on that Pete Carroll 4th and 7 call? Everyone I was with was screaming to go for the FG, a 53 yarder, like wtf are they doing? Then bam, TD. Thats one of those calls where you either come out looking like a moron or a genius. Gutsy call!
Gutsy call, just nice to see a QB take a shot downfield on a free play.I cant stand when D's jump and some bum QB throws an out or slant.

I thought it was a crazy call. Someone I was watching with said "they aren't going to kick watch he's playing them." The rest is history. I was noid. It was a VERY gutsy call. In fact I sat the game hinged on that call. They rolled the dice big time.

Pete Carroll: Percy Harvin 'should be fine' for Super Bowl XLVIII

Seattle wide receiver Percy Harvin didn't play in the NFC Championship game on Sunday after suffering a concussion in the divisional round of the playoffs, but that doesn't mean he won't play in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told KIRO-AM in Seattle on Monday that Harvin 'should be fine' for the Super Bowl. "We're counting on him to be ready," Carroll said.

Harvin's only played in two games since being traded to Seattle in March and he didn't practice last week after suffering a concussion in Seattle's 23-15 playoff win over New Orleans.

Besides the Saints playoff game, the only other week where Harvin saw action this season came in November when he caught one pass for 17 yards against the Vikings, his former team. Harvin spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing hip surgery in August.

Against the Saints in the playoffs, the hip wasn't the problem though, Harvin was knocked out of the game with a head injury. Harvin caught three passes for 21 yards before leaving the game in the first half with a concussion.

Harvin played in an NFC Championship game during his rookie year with the Vikings, but he's never played in a Super Bowl, so you can bet he'll do everything he can to make sure he's on the field at MetLife Stadium on Feb. 2.

Harvin isn't the only Seahawks player who's never played in a Super Bowl either, no current player on Seattle's roster has any Super Bowl experience. According to Newsday, that makes the Seahawks the first team since the 1990 Bills to hold that distinction.
