You know what was pathetic about that video? (Correct me if I'm wrong) Not a single one of those displayed was hybrid or alt fuel. More simplistically, none was diesel. I recently did a presentation on Biodiesel and how it is a solid answer to reduction in US Oil dependency, both foreign and domestic. Granted diesel itself is still big oil dependent, but a diesel engine is 15% more fuel efficient than a gasoline engine and also, when properly maintained, has a longer life cycle (and obviously can run on biodiesel). I won't bore anyone reading this with why biodiesel is better, but I am disappointed that an outlet with as much pull in the car industry as Car and Driver, would print an about face to the strides that are being made in alternative fuels. Big Oil must own Car and Driver.

You would think so in this day and age. It seems to me their minds are in the wrong places, especially Motor Trend. More so to me MT because it seems they focus way too much on lap times and 0-60 times. I hate that shit. Everyday drivers arent peeling out at lights on their way to Target.

Honda prelude breh! 160k miles and still runnin strong!
And to this day I think that is still a great car. I wouldnt mind owning one myself. The only thing is that I'm real leary of Hondas. It's too many people out there that wanna just take them from you without your permission. My homie at one time had a stock blue '88 Accord....muthafukkas stole it.....they stole it...an '88 ACCORD??!!!...SMH....right then I was like fuck that, I dont want a Honda. If I gotta worry about some bastard stealin a 1988 Accord then I'm cool...the damn thing didnt get cool till 1990.

sidenote: I did own a beater 92 Civic for a hot lil minute till it died.

Yea, I feel that. I had a integra gsr that got stolen, gutted and left for dead a few years ago. That's kinda the cool thing about preludes is they have slightly different motors (h22) whereas most Hondas had the b series that are interchangeable. So you could take the shittiest civic and steal a b18 vtec motor and u would have the fastest car in town lol. Car alarms are a must nowadays

On my street there was a like '88-89 accord and a like '91 del sol both stolen from somewhere qnd dumped on my block within a week of each other...

The funny thing was not just how shitty of a car to steal, but the del sol was left sitting up on blocks with no wheels. I was like woooow, what is the biggest size of rims coulda possibly been on that, some 10"s?

Like "12's naah mane i cant ride em dat big or i gotta cut da wheelwell on dat bitch whoadie"

I think the biggest size that would fit on a Del Sol would be some 18's....but to be safe...17's

I doubt size was the issue....they were probably some nice ass racin wheels.

I got my 97 ford truck for $800 back in '07 with 87k Miles and I got a 1994 Honda Accord EX for free with 160k miles. Just needed new tires and a paint job that I got for free from my pop's who works in a shop. Both still running strong. Looking at buying a motorcycle for commuting

The thing was, whe car was fucked all up, completely stock, had stock cassette player still in it, was not lookin like a car that had anything worth stealing on or in it... I honestly dont think 17's would even fit well enough to perform well, and people buy wheels for lil hondas like that for performance...

Thats why when my friends and i got harassed about it by officer mcfadden from the auto theft task force just because we were walking down the street in our neighborhood, i laughed at him. I was like i wouldnt even fit in that thing, some random ass paisa probably stole that piece of shit and you know that... He tried to ask our names to run them in the computer n he was tryin to be all sly n try to say "i need your names and numbers, to be in touch in case you guys see anything suspicious around here" and i was like "nah we can call you we know ur number its 911". And then he just gave us his card n left, but the other cop who sat in the car the whole time was muggin us so fuckin hard like y havent you arrested them yet lol

Oh I definately feel that. It all depends what ur in it for. If its about speed and handling then mos def 17's or 18's even would be out the question. And if that's not your forte...then anything goes.

I can picture that shit...smh

Sounds like a rookie/asshole cop partnership.
