I think they made the best decision on both frieman and griffin. Frieman cant play defense, and he barely got any playing time in september, so no need to even consider him as a dh.
Griffin bein left out is a little tougher call in my opinion, unless hes hurt.

Frieman has a nagging injury and has been limited all sept. you could see it in his swings the last series against seattle. Griffin has tendinitis in his throwing shoulder, no structural damage, just needs some rest...

I put up the tickets for game two, sold 2 tickets togethor for 300, paid 35 a piece. beer and food money for tomorows game.

A's down early...3 runs is nothing though...FUCK the home plate umpire though, this dude doesnt call anything colon throws a strike, but for Scherzer its a strike

The only thing i enjoyed tonight was the fan support. Happy to see the whole upperdeck was actually opened. Still cant get any hits in the fucken postseason. Cespedes was the only 1 to have a good night. Crisp walked 3 times also. There relievers made us look foolish also and its quite frustrating to watch
the A's are still getting used to be in the spotlight. first opening series playoff game at home in a long time. it was a close game, despite the tigers having way more hits and Scherzer working us. Let's not forget Scherzer will probably win the Cy Young and made a lot of teams look foolish. The A's still got this, and it was a one run game. That play by Cespedes was weird, they said he lost it in the lights, but it's weird that he pulled his head at the last moment, so maybe he didnt see it at all. Also, let's not forget he's coming off an injury.

bunch of fairweather fans at the stadium tonight I feel like. The only time we collectively got loud was when yo hit the 2 run jack, and red threw out martinez at home.
The first inning took a lot out of the crowd. Felt like the fuckin 3rd quarter of a raider game when the first crowd of people leave cause were gettin blown out. The only difference was the crowd stays loud at a raider game....
16 strike outs in one game is fuckin harsh. scherzer was dealin, and the ump sucked dick, but donaldson, lowrie, moss, and reddick, all three of these dudes were pulling their head tryin hit home runs and shit, and in turn struck out on their own way too many times.
dudes need to swing for base hits, rbi's dont just come from the long ball. Not likely your gonna hit a slider in the dirt out the yard in oakland

lost it in the lights my ass. cespedes misplayed that ball, but doolittle struck out the next batter for the 3rd out so it dont matter.
verlander tomorrow is gonna do the same thing scherzer did. Hes gonna get some calls in his favor from the plate ump when he doesnt even need it. Both these guys have the stuff to win even if the ump is squeezing them.
What the a's need to do is make contact and put balls in play, we didnt test the tigers defense at all tonight
