I thought Walt was going to cook a batch for old time sake when that music came on, and then when the police were nearby the car that was on fire would explode and somehow cause the meth lab to go up in a huge bang of blue fire, and walt would simply go out in some madd heisenberg glee. Maybe I watch too many hollywood movies, but either way the ending was awesome and I will miss this show, what a ride..
Lol I thought similar. The bullet wound was already killing him, but when the song played I thought he was going to blow the lab up. Didn't think about the blue flame tho

This is the most fuckboy page in siccness history

My only complaint is I felt like Jesse's ending was wrong. Or at least what they said on Talking Bad about him ending up alright is wrong.
So he rats, sees the only people that can protect him killed, has his father figure tell him he watched Jane die after also ordering him killed, is kept chained up in a pit, watches his only love left in the world get her head blown off, watches 5 guys get torn apart by an m-60, strangles his old partner to death, and finally leaves his father figure to die. All in the span of what, like 2 months? He has nothing left to live for. I thought he was going to kill himself after Walter slid him the gun, which honesty would've been awesome.
The Jesse we know would go find Badger & Skinny Pete, then go find Brock- watch him the way Walt did Junior, feel too guilty about Andrea and go buy a pound of coke to kill himself with.
But at the same time, Walt's death was so full of depth that it made up for any complaints you have. That shit was perfect.

That's what needed to happen though. You don't have to create some shocking, random finale just to be shocking and random. The show ended the way it needed to.

It doesn't need to be shocking and random but if the ending is very similar to what everyone is expecting than it's boring.

There is no way around that. As much as you want to defend the show on here, you can't tell me that YOU weren't expecting Walt to shoot up the AB with that rifle, rescue Jesse, and die....everyone was expecting that to some degree.

Shit I don't know why you guys get so mad about it like you are writers for the show and you are personally offended that I think the ending was predicable lmao.

It was a great show that became limited by it's own greatness and success.

Everyone knew Walt was going to die since like season 3.

The writers had a direction and an idea since the start of the show of how it would end and they stuck with it. They didn't have to do some whacky shit just to be unpredictable.

No one cares that you think it was predictable. Just your overly critical posts are annoying and it's comical you criticize the writers but your brilliant idea for how the show should have ended is having Walt die in a random car crash!

Skipping Butchers posts in this thread make it so much better.

This is why the internet makes everything worse and more jaded. Yeah I'm critical of shit also and have my opinions but damn, everyone feels like they are a writer and they can do better. Go write your own text based series and shock the world then. Co-write some shit with Ugly Nigga the text rapper.

The episode closed the series and left no stone unturned. Like someone said, no one predicted Walt to die by his own hands. That was perfect, and dying in the lab where he did what he loved and felt alive. And to me it seemed like he took that bullet protecting Jesse, cause he was still on him when it hit.

Even after everything Walt did against Jesse, Jesse couldn't kill him....it showed the bond they had underneath all they been through. I did expect him to free Jesse, but only to kill him after that. After seeing what Jack did to him and how fucked up he was, he changed his mind. It ended the way it should have and not on some gimmicky one time shock value bullshit.

Jesse wasn't going to kill Walt becaue that still would have been Walt controlling Jesse. He wasn't going to let Walt get off that easy and obviously Jesse was sick of being the controlled fuckboy his entire life. Walt seemed to know Jesse wasn't going to shoot him either, but wanted him to have the choice anyway.

Also, i know "what ifs" really don't matter but what if Walt hadn't gotten shot? What would have he done then?

and btw, any sort of murder/suicide combination as an ending to a show is the biggest copout/predictable ending you could write.

It would have been dope if instead of Walt being shot and dying and stuff, that aliens descended from the sky and abducted him and took him to another planet. Because Jesse notices the alien spaceship as he is driving away he gets in a car accident and dies and the other car jesse crashes into is being driven by skylar and she dies. Walt Jr. having no one to take care of him now and not knowing about the money that Grey matters has for him decides to cook and sell meth.

Nah Walt Jr should have opened his own diner after he finds his fathers meth recipe in a diaper box. Then he adds his special powdered meth sugar to top his customers pancakes.

It's interesting that you find my overly critical posts annoying rather than how I find your blindly supportive posts as simply entertaining.

First I think that Walt dying in car crash would be a better ending because it would representative that in life you can come up with the most well thought out, iron clad plan and the randomness and variability of life is completely uncontrollable.

Walt was such the master planner and smart guy, it would have been great to see his plans foiled through no fault of his own, simply due to the uncontrollable nature of life.

Either way, I wouldn't expect my story lines to be brilliant as that is not what I am paid to do.

It's ironic that we are both over in the Seahawks news thread questioning some of the play calls from the game yesterday, which is OK with you, but for some reason questioning the ending these writers chose is like wayyyy off limits.
